Now Scheduling Assessments for In Person Adult IOP

Virtual Adult

Our virtual intensive outpatient program for adults is designed to support individuals struggling with a variety of mental health conditions. Whether you were recently diagnosed or have been living with a mental health condition for years, our group can provide a place to explore the roots of disordered thoughts and behavior while learning new skills. Wherever you are on your journey, we believe in the therapeutic benefits of sharing, connecting and learning from others in a safe, supportive environment.

Held over Zoom three days a week, Tuesday – Thursday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm, our IOP is facilitated by a therapist with experience treating a variety of mental health conditions. During IOP, clients have the opportunity to learn and practice skills such as DBT, CBT, communication skills, coping skills and more. We strive to provide individualized care by addressing skills and topics based on the current needs and interests of the group. Additionally, we aim to provide an enriching environment by bringing in guest presenters, such as dieticians and yoga instructors. Clients also have the opportunity to meet with the therapist weekly for an individual check in throughout their time in IOP. We believe that our clients deserve a space that is free of discrimination and we work with clients of all ages, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, experiences, and needs.

Success Story

Participating in DeNovo’s Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) has been liberating for me. I tend to ruminate, with my OCD, and if I ruminate (think excessively and repetitively) on something that causes me anxiety, it can lead to a panic attack, whether I am at home or even if I am in public. I find that being able to express my concerns to peers who overtly also acknowledge their anxieties, a group in which cohesion is fostered by the regularity with which we meet, normalizes the thought patterns and can render them less frequent or less tenacious. There’s a lot of natural camaraderie within the cohort, which itself is healing after years of self-isolation throughout the pandemic. Meeting virtually is absolutely essential for me; this group is such a gift in my life, and members cover more than 100 miles of I-5 and Hwy 126
